How long will it take to learn InteriCAD?
If you are familiar with AutoCAD, you will need roughly three to four days training to become familiar with InteriCAD. If not, you may require five to six days training. You can refer to the Training CD for learning as well.

Can I install InteriCAD on several computers using only one license?
There is a key lock for each license. The key lock is used for running the program. Therefore, you can install the software in several computers, but the key lock only works in one computer at a time. If you have more than one user, you can either consider buying more licenses or using the InteriCAD network version.

Are there any updates to the library?
The Library is one of the key selling points in InteriCAD. There are more than 3000 well-selected models in the library including furniture, sanitaryware, home appliances and others.
Most of the models are from furniture manufacturers in China. Some are from Europe, USA, Japan and Southeast Asia. We have specialists who collect model information from different countries and regions.
Updates for the library are typically offered every three to six months. There are also abundant textures in InteriCAD. You can add or copy according to your needs.

What is a Software License Agreement?
A Software license agreement is authorization from a developer for your software usage. It allows you to use the software only. You don’t have the right to own the software or program. The agreement defines the right between you and the software provider.

If the key lock is damaged or lost, what can I do?
The warranty for the key lock is three months. If the key lock is damaged (excluding damages caused by misuse, accidents or modifications to the product)Within three months from the date of purchase, it will be replaced free of charge.
After three months, a basic cost will be charged for the replacement.
However, if the key lock is lost, you will lose access to the software as well and have to pay (buy a new set of software) to replace the key. Please put the key lock in a safe place when not in use.

What is the InteriCAD network version? What is the main difference from the InteriCAD commercial version? The network version is used with the Intranet when using three or more computers. Use of this type version requires a host computer connected with others by a hub. This version is suitable for three users or more and contains all functions seen in the commercial version.
The main difference is that you need to install encryption software in the host computer while inserting principal key locks to run the program installed in the other computers. If you have more than one user, buying the network version will be less expensive than buying the commercial version. Keep in mind, you will need an intranet and host to utilize this version.

How can I upgrade InteriCAD?

New functions will typically be added in this type of upgrade. Consider an upgrade from InteriCAD V9 to InteriCAD 3000 as an example. With this upgrade, exterior design and board base design functions were added. These changes, in turn, required upgrades for the key lock, User Manual and system. These upgrades are offered every one to two years and their costs will vary according to what is included in the upgrade.

What is the different between InteriCAD6000 and InteriCAD T3 Pro?
InteriCAD6000 requires existing AutoCAD software (version 2000-2009) in order to install it. This is because InteriCAD6000 uses AutoCAD as a platform to function.

InteriCAD T3 Pro is different. It is stand-alone software. Meaning, it does not need existing AutoCAD software in order to install it. Furthermore, InteriCAD T3 Pro has extra function where it is able to do kitchen layout just like KDMax. For more information, please don’t hesitate to call us.

Software: KD Max
How simple is to use this program?
KD-Max has been developed as a selling-tool. The program has to serve the selling and so it must be accessible to everyone. This was and is the starting point for the development of this software set. For KD-Max you don’t need a special training.
At the purchase of the program you receive a Quick start in the English language that will lead you through the program swiftly and easily. In a moment you will see your first kitchen on the screen, and be surprised by the ease of its employment.
The basic tools are simple and arranged in modules, and after having mastered the basics, your will soon discover the enormously powerful applications to jet the best out of the system. Employing it in every-day practice is the best training.

What can KD-Max do for you? With KD-Max you can show your customer in 15 minutes a definite photo-realistic design that he has composed together with you. You can do this without a specific CAD training.
Step by step you build the kitchen from bottom up to sink decoration. Simultaneously the system generates product-surveys, an inventory + survey of budget + numerous detailed working drawings, which you can apply directly to your work preparation.
The system automatically makes various cross-sections that you can export in DWG or DXF applications. KD-Max is standard provided with the powerful BTO-CAD, in which you can check and adapt the cross-sections. KD-Max has as its disposal 5th generation virtual reality technology by YF Software. Can I walk through the kitchen, open doors and drawers, end show equipment, if any?

You have your technical specifications at hand instantly¬. BTO-CAD is installed simultaneously with KD-Max. You may start BTO-CAD also separate from KD-Max. If you are used to AutoCAD, you will be able, without problems, to make the most complex drawings with BTO-CAD, and this you will save the purchase of an expensive CAD program!

How do I establish prices?
When you finish a design, you can split up the design into various tasks such as technical drawing but also calculation. By linking the design to the BTO-CAD system, the system immediately gives you a survey of material used, the number of square meters in corps material, top, doors, equipment, etc.
You can determine how you fix your prices, per m or per m2 or per entity, you make your choice. You decide how the system calculates for you. This quotation, for that matter, you can export to Excel.

How do I adjust/adapt the formats?
All useful elements within the system such as lower parts of cabinets, upper parts, electric equipment, furnaces, refrigerators, decoration, and pieces of furniture consist of vector applications. This means that if you want to place a cabinet, you have the possibility to define the size of the cabinet in the selection menu. These adjusted formats the system takes up, and they remain up to the working drawings. This you can think out every conceivable cabinet measures and execute them.

How do I change colors and how does the system process colors?
Before you are going to design a kitchen, you must complete a scheme of installations. In this your must fix with what kind of materials you want to build the kitchen, in optical sense. You fix colors and materials of doors, shelves, corpus, moldings, tops, handles, etc. in a scheme, and the system will generate these data automatically and simultaneously in your design. If you work often with the same colors and material composition, you store this scheme and recall it form the next customer. Within the system you can adjust the colors, but with the following restriction. Only a few of you have at your disposal a calibrated color screen. All screens and printers show differences in color and no rights can be derived from them. Our advice is to make the design and determine the final RAL or structure numbers through samples.
