6th InteriCAD Interior Design Award 2010 calling for entries !!!

The most awaited 6th InteriCAD Interior Design Award 2010 is here again to knock out the city. Thanks to all the support given by interior designers during IIDA 2009. With IIDA having a good record number of participating entries and designers last year, this year we vow to bring more new elements into the event. To further ensure this will happen, we have added more award categories to the series of accolades we will hand out for this year. IIDA 2010 will be one of the worthy platforms to display your for hard work contribution toward the interior design industry.

What category we can join?

Main Categories:-

1) Residential Design: apartments, private houses, housing developments, multi unit dwellings.
2) Retail Design: shops, retail outlets, showrooms, department stores, food markets, shopping centre, hairdressers, doctors and dentists room
3) Corporate Design: offices, studios, and SOHO (Small Office Home Office).
4) Food and Beverage Design: restaurants, pub, bistro and cafeterias.

New Categories:-

1) Public Institute Design: galleries, museums, concert halls, theatres, exhibition venues, places of worships, educational institutions, medical institutions, libraries, community centers, consulates, law courts, parliamentary buildings, airport and railway stations.
2) Entertainment Design: pub karaoke, pub café and spa
3) Show House Design: Tenant project, show house unit, bungalow and semi-d- show unit.
4) Kitchen Design: Residential and commercial kitchen space that features design of kitchen cabinet of at least 10 foot run.

How to join?

1) A CD- Room containing booth the entry images and close-up photo of the designers in JPEG format at least 300 dpi in resolution.
2) A design statement of no more than 200 words is to be included with the submission. The design statement can be in any language in Microsoft Word Format
3) Each company / individual / partners / team is allowed to submit a maximum of 10 projects per registration (RM 350).
4) Entry forms must be clearly filled up with the names of projects, designers and contact information.
5) To qualify for the Best Lighting Award, the “Lighting Plan drawing” in jpeg picture format must also be submitted.

Terms & Conditions

· This contest is open to all interior designers, architects, developer, kitchen specialist or carpenter Malaysia.
· All completed entries must be postmarked by 30th September, 2010.
· Registration fees must be made together with entries submission.
· Final Judges' decisions are final.
· Winners will be notified to attend the award ceremony.
· Winning entries may be featured in marketing and promotional materials as deemed appropriate by the organizer and sponsor.
· Winners will bear all expenses for travel costs and other incidentals relating to their appearance at the award ceremony.
· Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or in kind.
· The organizer reserves the right to substitute the top prize with another product of similar retail value without prior notice.
